This paper examines emerging financing gaps and strategic priorities in Ghana’s malaria response. Created with key input from the Ghana Health Service and the National Malaria Elimination Program, the report identifies critical shortfalls that threaten progress and outlines actionable recommendations to sustain and strengthen malaria control efforts. It reflects the technical expertise of BTG leadership and advisors from global malaria institutions, aiming to catalyze solutions that protect Ghana’s malaria gains and support its path toward elimination.
In Zambia, our collaboration with the National Malaria Elimination Program has already yielded a robust investment case and activity-level gaps inventory. This report presents a summary of that work, outlining the most urgent needs and the pathways-financial and operational-to sustain momentum through 2026.
